Chicas Tacos prides itself on offering a diverse menu that caters to all tastes, featuring impressive options like the mouthwatering shrimp taco drizzled with morita aioli, and the popular fish taco which boasts a generous topping of Caesar salad, combining crunchy freshness with flavorful seafood. As a food reviewer at Foodjoyy, I was genuinely captivated by the casual and trendy atmosphere at Chicas Tacos. The decor cleverly embraces the building's history as a former Firestone Tire and Service Center, creating a rustic yet modern vibe perfect for enjoying a quick lunch or a lively gathering with friends. With outdoor seating available for those who love to enjoy their tacos al fresco, and amenities such as wheelchair accessibility, Wi-Fi, and pet-friendly policies, Chicas Tacos truly wishes to welcome everyone.
The convenience doesn’t stop there. Chicas Tacos offers delivery options, takes reservations, and even accommodates those looking for vegan alternatives. And let’s not forget about the full bar, perfect for pairing your tacos with a refreshing beverage from the brewery. Plus, with options for catering and military discounts, there’s no reason not to bring the taco festivity to your next gathering.
With a welcoming ambiance, crave-worthy tacos, and a prime location within a bustling brewery, Chicas Tacos deserves a visit. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite after Pilates, enjoying an afternoon with friends, or planning a family outing, this taco joint has something delightful in store for everyone. Come for the tacos; stay for the experience.
“ Tucked inside the All Seasons Brewery on La Brea is Chica's, an unassuming taco stand that serves outstanding, healthy takes on Mexican street food. The shrimp taco was packed with fresh grilled fish drizzled with morita aioli while the beer-battered fish taco was a salad in a tortilla--a generous helping of seafood topped with a Caesar salad. There are so many other great options to try, which means I'll be back for more. ”
“ The tacos are absolutely delicious! Service is friendly and fast, I love the casual ambience next to the brewery. The fish taco with the Caesar salad topper is the way to go. I've tried all of their tacos, but these are crave worthy and worth returning for. ”
“ (Dined 04/29/24 MO @ 5:00pm): Yeah... chicas and tacos! Located inside All Season Brewing which was located inside the L.A. landmark former Firestone Tire And Service Center, I was happy to see Chicas Tacos as a nice option to potentially absorb any beers I intended to imbibe in. Although I loved how more breweries had onsite resident eateries (I had no idea that was the situation here), I equally-favored the various food trucks that made the rounds (this brewery location wasn't conducive to food trucks due to the lack of immediate parking space). Mexican food was one of my favorites, and whenever I returned from traveling abroad, this was the first cuisine I wanted to touch my lips. How would these chicas' tacos pair with my beers!? PURCHASE Market Bowl w/Chicken ($10.49): So, I surprisingly opted for this instead of tacos. With the option of other meats, this was basically a deconstructed burrito without the tortilla wrapping in a bowl with a side of freshly-made tortilla chips. This pretty much had all the ingredients of a burrito which was more like a salad without it being in a large flaky tortilla shell. I enjoyed this seemingly healthier version while the chicken pieces were tasty and everything else was fresh and flavorful. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=f4rU2939w1NMNJ8M-TEf4g SERVICE I strolled towards the order counter as a friendly young woman greeted me. I needed a moment to decide what to order. Once I knew what I wanted, I ordered, was given a buzzer, about 15 minutes later it went off like a light show, and I collected my food at the side pick-up window; easy-peasy - salud! PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance) Although I parked across the street at the shopping center and made a quick purchase at Lassens in order to get my parking validated for an hour or so, there appeared to be plenty of parking along the main drags of La Brea Ave. and 8th St., respectively, and all surrounding side streets, if you were lucky enough to find an open spot. They also offered valet parking after 5pm MO-SA. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located against the back wall in a built-in kitchen shack, you had an order window with a real person or your choice of a couple self-order kiosks while the menu was legibly posted above the order window. The decorative motif of the shack harkened back to this space's former life as a tire factory and mechanic service facility. They shared a spacious large main floor with some games, a separate private room, and a front outdoor patio (pets allowed here only), all filled with chairs and tables. Plenty of natural lighting came through the large surrounding windows and doors while a ton of assorted electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were several TVs throughout while rock music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=-U5lCUypozjbfRM0R_c_6Q ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I appreciated Chicas Tacos, but unless I was having beers at All Season Brewing, I wouldn't go out of my way mainly because of the congested area and lack of decent parking. I loved my healthier Mexican food, the menu was very limited (they had pizza which was odd), the prices were comparable, and the service was straightforward which I always loved. Plus, I always preferred to support local small businesses whenever possible. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $11.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS ”
“ First of all, the whole concept of this taco joint being inside this refurbished vintage Firestone is a vibe within itself. Me and my bestie decided to see what was tea after Pilates and we were not disappointed! The BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA had me like CPK WHO?!?! We also ordered the fish tacos and those went crazy as well!! ”
“ Quick and easy counter service spot located inside the All Seasons Brewing Co. there's a self service kiosk where you can place your order and then the pick up window is on the right hand side. My two taco combo cost $10 and came with a small side of chips and salsa. I opted for the fish taco and the asada tacos. They have nonalcoholic drinks available for purchase as well. My food came out in less than 10 minutes at 8pm on a Saturday evening and there's plenty of seating within the brewery. Credit cards accepted. ”
“ It had been a couple of years since I ate there and decided to give it another try, the first time it was OK, three stars worth, but this time the food and menu were way better...easy five stars! It's located in the All Season's Brewery. You can order ahead online or place your order while you're sippin' some suds. Either way, you won't have to wait long for your food and you'll be mighty happy when you get it! I had a market burrito with peppered steak. It was super good, and it seemed like a healthy burrito, not all gooey with too much cheese, etc. It wasn't gigantic, but it was plenty filling. I think healthier food is much more satisfying and this is a really good burrito. My friend had tacos, one beef, and one chicken. He loved both of them. They have street corn on the menu, I had to try it. I'm super glad I did because it's fantastic!! It was about $5 and well worth every bite. They have a nice menu of pizzas, bowls, tacos, wings, quesadillas, dirty fries, agua frescas, etc Lynn, the manager is super nice and the chef is awesome. A big yes to Chicas Tacos. You'll want to plan on eating there when you're at All Seasons for a brew with your friends. You'll all be really happy you did! ”
